Chris Kittleson

Hello, I'm Chris Kittleson. I am 35 years old and live in Cross Plains Wisconsin with my wife Karen and 4 kids: stepson Cory 19 stepdaughter Amanda 16 stepdaughter Lizzy 12 & daughter Hannah 7. I work as a construction carpenter/contractor; I am self employed and work with my father. We do new construction & remodeling, being self-employed allows me to take time off in the fall and spring to pursue my hunting addiction, which started at age 8, tagging along with my father deer hunting.
At 10 I was killing sparrows with my daisy BB gun. As I grew I progressed to squirrels, rabbits and other small game. At 13 I killed my first whitetail buck with a shotgun I purchased myself (laws weren't as strict in the early 80's). From that point on I was hooked.
I've hunted Antelope in Wyoming to Elk in New Mexico, but my passion is whitetail hunting with my Mathews. Spring turkey hunting is a close second in favorite hunts as well as bear in the fall. I probably spend more time in a tree stand in the fall, than working at my real job. My wife, Karen also enjoys hunting and goes as often as she is able.
I also have a sideline business called Pronghorn Productions, offering editing & videography services. To me hunting isn't a "sport" it's a passion; killing isn't everything, it's the challenge of the hunt to match wits with any animal on its own turf is my reward. To be able to capture it all on video is better to me than actually killing any animal!
I am really looking forward to contributing to the growth and success of Team Hammerdog Outdoors and to bring the average hunter an accurate portrayal of real life hunting experiences.
